"David, wearing a linen ephod, danced before the Lord with all his might, while he and the entire house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouts and the sound of trumpets. . . I will celebrate before the Lord. I will become even more undignified than this. . ."

Lynn, Massachusetts Mission Trip - Date Posted: 07/14/2009
The Sr. High returned July 11th from the Mission trip to Lynn, Mass. We had a great time! Our team was used for two sites: -Briarcliff Adult Day Care where we worked with older adults and adults with dementia and -Boys and Girls Club were we worked with children on a 100 acre camp near Salem, Mass. Derek was able to help teach children to swim, while the others enjoyed playing games with the children.

Before arriving in Lynn, we were able to see the July 4th fireworks in Boston and attended Sunday morning worship at the Old North Church in Boston.

The weather was absolutely beautiful!

Each night, we joined in "Club" which was a worship time focusing on the Freedom we have in Jesus. Our group had great discussions. The week ended with a foot washing service on Thursday evening.

We were hosted by Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Princeton, NJ before and after the trip. It's a beautiful church full of great folks! Stop by if your ever in the area.

The Sr. High have chosen Toronto as our trip for next summer!

Recycling to Support Youth Missions - Date Posted: 09/03/2008

Newspapers, old ink cartridges, and used cell phones help fund scholarships for youth retreats! Please help! The newspapers can be thrown in the large red bins located in the church parking lot. Cartridges and phones can be placed in the boxes outside the multi-purpose room and Fellowship Hall. As the economy pinches pockets, we have more demand for scholarships - please help us meet their needs!
